MSL 3001 - Training Management and the Warfighting Function (3) When Offered: Fall Students conduct self-assessment of leadership style, develop a personal fitness regimen, and have the opportunity to learn how to plan and conduct individual/small unit tactical training while testing reasoning and problem-solving techniques. Students receive direct feedback on leadership abilities. MSL 3000 level courses prepare a student to become a commissioned officer in the US Army. Lecture three hours, laboratory three hours. The MSL 3001 Leadership Lab places students in demanding leadership positions for training, coaching and evaluation. Labs cover a variety of tactical situations to prepare cadets for success at the National Advanced Leadership Camp. Prerequisite: Selection by the department as well as successful completion of the Basic Course (first two years of ROTC) or its equivalent as approved by a Professor of Military Science and Leadership.
