TEC 4718 - Construction Management (3) When Offered: On Demand This course introduces students to the mechanics of managing construction projects and personnel. Organizational structures, required licenses, codes, permits, safety requirements, personnel management, customer relations, scheduling, accounting, insurance, and financing are addressed. Special attention is given to the use of computer software, such as spreadsheets and scheduling programs, for construction management activities. Prerequisites: MAT 1020 or higher, TEC 1708 , TEC 2718 , TEC 3038 ,TEC 3718 , and basic knowledge of computer word processing, Internet procedures, and spreadsheets. (ND Prerequisite: passing the math placement test or successful completion of MAT 0010 .) [Dual-listed with TEC 5718.] Dual-listed courses require senior standing; juniors may enroll with permission of the department.
