When Offered: Fall; Spring This course is designed to provide an overview of public health with an emphasis on the population perspective and the impacts of healthcare systems. This course will provide students with the tools to think critically about the various areas of public health including environmental and social/behavioral influences on the health of the public in the U.S. The fields of public health and medicine will also be compared and contrasted.
