When Offered: Fall; Spring An introduction to epidemiology, defined as the study of the distribution and determinants of diseases and injuries in human populations. Emphasis will be placed on descriptive epidemiology, observational studies, and therapeutic trials of both infectious and chronic diseases. Prerequisite: H P 4100.
