GHY 1040 - Introduction to Human Geography (3) When Offered: Fall; Spring GEN ED: Social Science Designation; Liberal Studies Experience This course examines the spatial patterns of human society. By focusing on the description and analysis of the spatial dimensions of human language, economy, religion and government, this course is a celebration of human diversity. Lectures, readings, films, slides, writing exercises, map quizzes and class discussions will help the student to understand and appreciate the geography of the human mosaic.
