SW 4010 - Social Work Practice with Groups (3) When Offered: Fall; Spring Applications of social work knowledge and skills to social work practice with groups. The course will prepare students to engage in group work at micro and mezzo practice levels helping groups as well as individuals within groups. Key concepts, principles, theories, methods, and skills necessary for competent group social work practice will be covered, as well as skills necessary for group social work practice with diverse populations. Prerequisite: admission to the professional sequence or consent of the BSW Program Director.
