When Offered: Fall; Spring Idea Development and Prototyping is an experiential learning course in which students explore the often-ambiguous front end of idea development within a business context. Students will apply design thinking skills to deepen their understanding of customer discovery techniques, prototyping methods, and feedback mechanisms to support iteration and innovation. By utilizing imaginative critical thinking, students will develop the entrepreneurial foresight necessary to foster the kind of innovation that disrupts the status quo. Prerequisite: 54 earned hours
