ANT 4330 - Bioarchaeology (3) When Offered: On Demand Bioarchaeology is the holistic, interdisciplinary, and epidemiological analysis of human skeletal remains from archaeological contexts. In this course, we will examine how human skeletons are used to reconstruct the social and cultural circumstances of past peoples from different geographical and temporal contexts using reconstructions of paleodemography, biocultural stress, lifestyle and behavior, physical activity and paleodiet. NOTE: Students who have previously received credit for ANT 4331 may not enroll in or receive credit for ANT 4330. Prerequisite: Demonstrated Readiness for College-level Math.
