PLN 4700 - Planning Studio (3)

When Offered: Fall; Spring
In this advanced community-engaged Planning Studio course, students will use their expertise in strategic planning, honing their abilities to address client-identified challenges and fulfill critical needs. Participants will adeptly navigate the intricacies of resource identification, crafting comprehensive project scopes complete with meticulous timelines, data collection, rigorous analysis, and the development of a comprehensive report enriched with findings and actionable recommendations. Furthermore, students will capably present their work to the client and tailor other supplementary materials as required. Interactions with a Planning client will be a recurring feature throughout the semester, allowing students to cultivate strong relationships and produce high-impact deliverables, designed to cater to both professional planning stakeholders and the wider public audience.
Prerequisite: PLN 2410.
