CIS 3000 - CIS Career Readiness (1)

When Offered: Fall; Spring
An introduction to the majors offered through the CIS department and the various careers in the CIS and cybersecurity fields. This course provides students with a broad overview of the various resources available within the CIS department to help students succeed in the CIS and cybersecurity majors and the variety of career paths available to these students. Topics discussed will include department specific programs for majors, certifications and professional organizations, and specific career readiness tips for CIS and cybersecurity majors.
Prerequisites: BUS 2001; Students must have successfully completed 45 hours of college credit, be an intended or declared CIS or cybersecurity major.
