When Offered:Fall. Alternate years An introduction to computational molecular and cellular biology. Students will have the opportunity to learn how to mine biological databases for information; retrieve, analyze, and compare biological sequence data; and predict sequence features and relationships using computational tools. Prerequisite: BIO 3800 (Molecular Biology) or permission of the instructor. Lecture two hours, laboratory two hours.
