The Master of Science in Kinesiology program is offered to individuals who seek careers in various areas within the Kinesiology field. Students in the Master of Science in Kinesiology program select one of three concentration options. The Research option includes coursework and experiences to prepare students for future Ph.D. work or work in research settings. The Clinical Exercise Physiology option includes coursework and experiences to prepare students for transition into a Ph.D. or Professional program, or for careers in cardiac rehabilitation and clinical research. The Strength and Conditioning option includes coursework and experiences to prepare students for careers in strength and conditioning or sports performance.

Admission to the Master of Science in Kinesiology program is a competitive process. Students who wish to be admitted to this program must submit satisfactory completion of academic requirements, including course prerequisites. Program admission is primarily in the fall semester, with occasional slots in spring if openings are available.
