Major Requirements (70 Hours)
2.0 major GPA is required for graduation. Major GPA calculation will include all courses taken in the major department, plus any other courses under Major Requirements. Minimum of 18 semester hours of courses taken to fulfill major requirements must be courses
offered by Appalachian.

Environmental Planning
6 hours; minimum of 3 hours must be PLN courses
Urban and Economic Development

Planning Methods
6 hours; minimum of 3 hours must be PLN courses
Planning and Related Elective Courses (15 Hours)
3000 & 4000 level courses or those approved by the major advisor

Student will receive a senior check from the Dean’s Office via email
