COM 3130  if taken for the major may count toward General Education: ILE; OR COM 3300  if taken for the major may count toward General Education LSE)

Major Requirements (42 Hours)

An overall 2.0 GPA is required in the major. 18 semester hours must be completed at Appalachian.

  • Junior Writing in the Discipline (WID)
  • Senior Capstone Experience (CAP) must be met

Core Courses (6 Hours)

A 2.0 GPA is required in the core courses
