Note: Language courses 1010 & 1020 or 1030 are prerequisites for *intermediate level courses.

Language courses 1050 or 1060 may be used in General Education Liberal Studies Experience.

Major Requirements (46 Hours)

A minimum grade of “C” (2.0) is required in each ART course. 18 hours must be completed at Appalachian State University. BA RULE: Students must not exceed 46 hours above General Education in the discipline ART.

Minor Required (12-24 Hours)

• 9 hours of a minor must be completed at Appalachian

Free Electives (2-23 Hours)

To total 122 minimum for this major

• 2 hours of free electives outside the major discipline are required.
