Program of Study for the Graduate Certificate in Middle and Secondary Teaching
Admission Requirements: Baccalaureate degree in approved field with relevant coursework in the area of study from an accredited college or university with a minimum 2.7 cumulative GPA; complete application to the Graduate School . To be considered for admission, applicants must meet the criteria for admission to the Graduate School . Meeting this condition does not guarantee admission. Note: This certificate with the successful completion of appropriate licensure exams and program requirements will allow candidates to be eligible for a NC Professional Educator’s License in one or more of the Career and Technical Education, Middle Grades Education, Secondary Science, or Secondary Mathematics Licensure Areas. PRAXIS II exams and other specific requirements may be necessary to meet North Carolina A-Level Teaching License requirements. Total Required (Minimum 21 Hours)
