Experiential Learning (3 Hours)

• 3900/4900 -  Internship (3-12)

Internship proposal must be fully approved by the Chair of Interdisciplinary Studies and
must be with a non-profit organization. Students must complete IDS 2450  prior to their internship in order for it to count towards the minor. We also recommend students take COM 3620  before or concurrently. A total of 120-150 hours work in the field will be required.

• IDS 3500 - Independent Study (1-4) Independent Study must focus on applied research in non-profit sector
• Approved Service Learning-designated course, at 3000 level or higher (3)
