Requirements (18 Hours)

First Year/Sophomore Level Courses (6 Hours)

Choose three credit hours of PHL at the 1000 level or higher
Choose three credit hours of REL at the 1000 level or higher

Philosophy Courses (6 Hours)

Choose three credit hours of PHL at the 3000 level
Choose three credit hours of PHL at the 4000 level

Religion Courses (6 Hours)

Choose six credit hours of REL at the 3000-4000 level

Total Required (18 Hours)

A minimum of 9 hours must be “in residence,” i.e. courses taken through AppState (can include study abroad, Appstate online courses, etc.).

Note:

Students seeking a BA degree in either Philosophy or Religious Studies are not permitted to declare a Philosophy and Religious Studies minor.
