Program of Study for the Master of Science in Nursing
Basic Admission Requirements: Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university and a complete application to the Graduate School . Additional Admission Requirements: - Personal Statement
- Proof of RN Licensure
To be considered for admission, applicants must meet or exceed the criteria for admission to the Graduate School . Meeting this condition does not guarantee admission. Letters of Recommendation: Two, one must be academic and the other professional Minimum GPA to Qualify for Regular Admission: 3.0 Prerequisites: - Earned or be in-progress of a Bachelors of Science in Nursing degree from an accredited (ACEN or CCNE) college or university OR an accredited associate degree or diploma in nursing with a bachelor’s degree in another field
- Completed an undergraduate statistics and research course (descriptive and inferential statistics) with a grade of C (2.0) or higher
- One year of nursing experience prior to enrollment
