Program of Study for the Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy
Basic Admission Requirements: Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university and a complete application to the Graduate School . Additional Admission Requirements: To be considered for admission, applicants must meet the criteria for admission to the Graduate School . Meeting this condition does not guarantee admission. Letters of Recommendation: Three. If you are a recent graduate, one reference must be a professor. Minimum GPA to Qualify for Regular Admission: 3.0 Location: Boone Campus Course Requirements for the Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy

Theoretical Foundations of Marital and Family Therapy (3 Credits)
Assessment and Treatment in Marital and Family Therapy (18 Credits)
Choose Two of the Following (6 Credits)
Human Development and Family Studies (9 Credits)
Ethics and Professional Studies (3 Credits)
Supervised Clinical Practice (9 Credits)
Electives (6 Credits)
Six (6) credits of graduate level electives, which may include thesis credits, selected in consultation with your advisor. Other Requirements for the MA in Marriage and Family Therapy
