Program of Study for the Master of School Administration


Basic Admission Requirements: Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university and a complete application to the Graduate School 

Additional Admission Requirements:

  • Personal Statement
  • Proof of Teaching Licensure

To be considered for admission, applicants must meet the criteria for admission to the Graduate School .

Letters of Recommendation: Three. One reference letter must be from your current school principal or immediate supervisor.

Minimum GPA to Qualify for Regular Admission: 3.0

Exam Scores: GRE

Standardized Exam Waiver Eligibility: The standardized exam requirement may be waived for applicants who have:

  • A cumulative GPA of 3.1 or higher in your bachelor’s degree; OR
  • An earned master’s degree; OR
  • A cumulative GPA of 3.0 AND 5+ years of professional experience in K-12 education.

Prerequisites: At least three years of public school teaching experience in a K-12 setting.
