Program of Study for the Graduate Certificate in Career and Technical Education

Licensure: This certificate with the successful completion of appropriate licensure exams and program requirements will allow candidates to be eligible for a NC Professional Educator’s License in one or more of the Career and Technical Education, Licensure Areas.

Basic Admission Requirements: Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university and a complete application to the Graduate School .

To be considered for admission, applicants must meet the criteria for admission to the Graduate School . Meeting this condition does not guarantee admission.

PRAXIS II exams and other specific requirements may be necessary to meet North Carolina A-Level Teaching License requirements.
