TEC 4788 - Integration of Energy and Building Systems (3) When Offered: Fall; Spring This course is an advanced study of the physical principles behind the interaction of both residential and commercial buildings with the environment, including the performance of heating, cooling, ventilation, and humidity control systems. Traditional, high performance, and emerging technologies and practices are studied in the context of energy efficiency. Load calculations, system specification, and system integration are explored using the latest building information modeling (BIM) software tools. Lecture two hours, laboratory two hours. Prerequisites: TEC 3718 , TEC 3728 , TEC 3748 , TEC 4618 .
