MGT 4640 - The Strategy and Practice of Human Resource Management (3) When Offered: Fall; Spring This course examines human resource management from a strategic perspective. It is an interactive course which explores the intersection of human resource management, business policy, and competitive strategy. The goal is to provide students with the skills and core competencies needed to be successful managers of human capital in organizations. Prerequisites: 84 earned hours, a minimum grade of “C” (2.0) in any Writing in the Discipline (WID) course, and MGT 3620 .
