MUS 3072 - Models of Music Therapy in Mental Health (2)

When Offered: Spring
A study of theoretical foundations of music therapy in mental health. Major models of psychotherapy will be surveyed as well as the foundations for verbal skills in clinical practice.  Lecture and demonstration two hours.
Prerequisites: MUS 2050  or MUS 2052  with a minimum grade of “B- ” (2.7), and MUS 2051  with a minimum grade of “C” (2.0). Music Therapy majors must be enrolled concurrently in MUS 3900 .
