HOS 4550 - Current Issues & Trends in Hospitality & Tourism Management (3)

This course is an exploration of timely issues and topics that are influencing the hospitality and tourism industry. Students will collect relevant articles and other works from a variety of sources (newspapers, magazines, professional journals, and government agencies, NGOs) which we will discuss in class. Oral presentations, guest speakers, and independent research will allow the student to develop knowledge and awareness on issues that are impacting the industry.
Prerequisites: 54 earned hours and HOS 2000.
