CHE 2201 - Organic Chemistry I (3)

First course of a two-semester sequence in organic chemistry. An in-depth study of structure, bonding, properties and stereochemistry of carbon compounds. Introduction to classes of organic compounds and their nomenclature, reaction mechanisms and organic synthesis will also be introduced.
Prerequisites: CHE 1102 and CHE 1120
prerequisite or corequisite: CHE 2203.
