PHL 4700 - Senior Philosophy Capstone (3) [CAP]

GEN ED: Capstone Experience
Formulation and completion of an independent research project in the context of a seminar in which the student’s ideas, drafts, and thesis are developed, and the final product presented. Students will synthesize knowledge and skills gained in the major in analyzing materials specific to the discipline. Emphasis is placed on thinking critically and creatively and demonstrating clear and effective writing and oral communication.
Prerequisites: Completion of at least 6 semester hours of Philosophy (PHL) coursework at the 3000 or 4000 level; completion of any Writing in the Discipline (WID) course in Philosophy; declared major in Philosophy.
