GEN ED: Sustainability and Climate Literacy
This course will explore the various forms of energy production and will examine the complete range of energy conversion systems existing in the world today. Students will examine energy resources, their economic and environmental impacts, the technologies used to exploit them, and their relation to and impacts on global climate change. Topics include: the principles of power and energy, fossil fuels, nuclear power, renewable energy, and decarbonizing energy systems.
