KIN 3120 - Health and Fitness Facility Safety and Management (3)

This course is designed to equip individuals in the health and fitness industry with the knowledge and practical skills necessary to ensure the safety and well-being of both clients and employees. The curriculum encompasses a range of vital topics, from understanding legal requirements and ethical standards to emergency procedures and first-aid proficiency. Students will gain a deep understanding of safety protocols in health and fitness settings, guided by Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) guidelines for the safe handling and disposal of body fluids and employee safety. 
Prerequisite: Declared Kinesiology major; KIN 2005
