MUS 2617 - Legacies of the European Tradition (3) [GenEd: HS]

When Offered: Fall; Spring
GEN ED: Historical Studies Designation; Humanities and Its Systems
An analysis and interpretation of the style, form, and impact of European Musical traditions. Through aural and score analysis of selected repertoire and culturally specific readings, students will investigate the varied legacies of this repertoire and will engage in historiographic research.
