GEN ED: Sustainability and Climate Literacy
This course will challenge students to develop and sharpen their public speaking skills through practice, preparation, and critical engagement with environmental issues to hone key communication skills while improving climate literacy in the contemporary world. It will focus on building speaking, listening, research, and nonverbal communication skills. In addition to public speaking texts, students will engage literature on sustainability and climate literacy. Students will also select a topic related to sustainability and climate literacy to research and present on throughout the semester.
