PHY 1123 - General Physics I (3)
When Offered: Fall; Spring
A study of the basic principles of physics including mechanics, thermodynamics, sound, electricity and magnetism, optics, and modern physics.
NOTE: Not open to students with credit for PHY 2010 .
Prerequisite: None with a Calculus Readiness Placement score of 12 or higher. Otherwise MAT 1020 or MAT1025 or MAT 1110 or the equivalent is a required prerequisite.
Prerequisite or corequisite: PHY 1113 .
