ART 1002 - Foundations: Thinking Through Form (3) When Offered: Fall; Spring This course introduces three-dimensional design as a practice of embodied thinking. Through tactile experimentation and spatial play, students develop sensitivity to materials, deepen their understanding of form, and engage making as a way of thinking. Scaffolded projects invite students to generate ideas through material exploration and apply principles of three-dimensional design to construct compositions in space. Students build confidence using tools safely and navigating shared studio environments responsibly.
