ART 1003 - Foundations: Seeing and Drawing (3)

When Offered: Fall; Spring
This course introduces drawing as a practice of perceptual inquiry and sustained attention. Through hands-on exercises in observation and imagination, students explore how line, value, composition, and perspective shape space and meaning. Scaffolded assignments invite students to generate, iterate, and communicate ideas through drawing and build confidence in visual decision-making. Students develop a strong work ethic through regular practice and time management.
