R_M 4450 - Seminar in Experience and Tourism Development (3) When Offered: Fall This course will review the rise of the experience economy and identify the core dimensions and concepts of visitor/guest experience design and management. It will introduce students to key experience design and management frameworks and principles for application to a range of experiences offered in Tourism and Events. Students will practice using these principles to design effective and sustainable experiences. There will also be a focus on building a repertoire of skills to use data to inform and evaluate change in experience design and management. Prerequisites: R_M 2150 and R_M 3241 ; or permission of the instructor.
