HPE 2110 - Introduction to Health, PE, and Coaching (3)

When Offered: Fall; Spring
This course will focus on surveying issues integral to effective, professional practice in health, physical education and coaching. Example topics include the history of health, physical education and coaching; national and state organizations and standards; learning theories, ethics, philosophies, and appropriate practices; curricular and instructional models; trends, problems and issues affecting the HPEC professions; diversity; and technology in HPEC.Â
