GES 2752 - Environmental Science Field Methods (1) When Offered: Fall; Spring This course provides instruction in various aspects of environmental science data collection and interpretation in the field. Topics include: water, soil, and air sample collection; designing a sampling protocol; surveying using a total station; making a site map in GIS software; estimating stream discharge field note procedures, and field ethics/safety. Laboratories will be held both indoors and outdoors. Prerequisite: GES 2250 Â with a minimum grade of “C-” (1.7). Open only to GES majors and minors.
