PHL 2040 - Philosophy of Democracy (3) [FAD]

Satisfies the Foundations of American Democracy (FAD) graduation requirement.
GEN ED: Humanity and Its Systems
This course examines the philosophy of democracy in theory and practice. Primary focus will be given to democracy in the United States, including foundations of American democracy, the extent to which American politics, government, and other institutions have been democratic, and challenges and alternatives to democracy.
