*At least 9 hours in the minor must be at the 3000-level or above

Required Global Studies Course (9 Hours)
Students should select any 9 hours of GLS courses
Additional courses (9 hours)
Students select additional courses in area studies (such as European Studies or Latin American Studies) or a transitional topic (such as Globalization & Development, Human Rights, or Global Health) as approved by the Department of Interdisciplinary Studies.
Note:
A minimum of 9 hours must be ‘in residence,” i.e. courses taken through ASU (can include study abroad, ASU online courses, etc.).
Copies of each student’s program of study, signed by the chair of the Department of Interdisciplinary Studies, must be on file in the CAS Dean’s Office.
