Major Requirements (65-66 Hours)
2. 0 major GPA is required for graduation. Major GPA calculation will include all courses taken in the major discipline, plus any other courses under Major Requirements. Minimum of 18 semester hours of courses taken to fulfill major requirements must be courses offered by Appalachian.
You must complete at least one 3-hour course with a Writing in the Discipline [WID] designation within the Major Requirements. Courses with the [WID] designation are PS 3280 , PS 3320 , PS 3370 , PS 3550 , PS 3565 , PS 3570 , PS 4230 , PS 4723 , & PS 4748 . [WID] All have PRE: RC 2001 .

Required Pre-professional Legal Studies Concentration (30-31 Hours)

The Pre-professional Legal Studies concentration, made up of courses drawn from one or more disciplines outside the GJS Department, requires careful planning. Students are encouraged to develop their program of study early in their academic careers with the assigned departmental advisor for this specific concentration. * Students must have 90 s.h. of coursework to be eligible for internship PS 4900 .
