Foundations of American Democracy Requirement (3 Hours)
Foundations of American Democracy Requirement Three (3) credits of Foundations of American Democracy (FAD) are required for degree completion. Courses that meet this requirement may also be used to meet other major, minor, or General Education requirements. General Education Requirements (41 Hours) ARH 2030 and ARH 2130 taken for the major may count toward General Education. Major Requirements (81 Hours)
A minimum grade of “C” (2.0) is required in each course for the major. 18 semester hours must be completed at Appalachian. - Junior Writing in the Discipline (WID)
- Senior Capstone Experience (CAP) must be met
Introductory Coursework (15 Hours)
Advanced Coursework (48 Hours)
Freshman Portfolio Review must be successfully completed before 2000 - 4000 level courses may be taken. Interdisciplinary Coursework (15 Hours)
Approved Elective (3 Hours)
- Electives should be chosen in consultation with your INT advisor.
