MKT 4630 - Digital Transformation in Marketing (3) When Offered: Fall, Spring This course is an advanced course that will help students understand how the marketing landscape is changing with the convergence of social, mobile, analytics and cloud technologies. The class will delve deeper into the understanding of the new digital consumer and their customer journey. This class will work in close collaboration with active brands and businesses and assess their digital transformation in marketing. The students will gain a working knowledge of artificial intelligence(AI), extended reality(XR) and the metaverse from a marketing perspective and use their new skills in recommending and planning an optimal digital transformation in marketing strategy for the brand of choice. Prerequisites: 84 earned hours, a minimum grade of “C” (2.0) in any Writing in the Discipline (WID) course, MKT 3050 with a minimum grade of “C” (2.0), and either MKT 3225 , MKT 3235 .
