TEC 3604 - Sustainable Transportation (3)

When Offered: Fall; Spring
This course will introduce students to emerging technologies and strategies for creating low-carbon, resilient transportation systems. Topics may include existing transportation power plants and systems, improving efficiency, renewable fuels, hybrid technologies, and electric and solar vehicles. The class will incorporate individual growth through an inquiry based project experience in addition to lecture style teaching. Engineering problem solving methods will be used to develop a potential solution to a problem in a transportation system.
Prerequisites: TEC 2029.
