TEC 3606 - Sustainable Water Management (3)

When Offered: Spring
This course will introduce students to both traditional and alternative water and wastewater treatment methods and technologies. Students will study how to develop water management strategies for climate adaptation and mitigation which are both economically and environmentally sustainable. Topics may include water availability, water quality and purification techniques, water quality assessment, water pumping, efficiency, greywater, composting toilets, ecological machines, and water policy.
Prerequisite: TEC 2029.
